Contractual Virtual Braille, Cane Travel, and Blindness Skills Instruction
Looking for a little extra support for your blind/low vision child in these new virtual times? While hands on instruction is always best, our current circumstances may not allow this and you may find your child missing out on valuable instruction time from their public school, not to mention there is a shortage of qualified teachers for blind and low vision children in general. If you are interested in giving your child a little extra support, I am willing to contract virtual services in braille, cane travel, blindness skills, and activities of daily living. I am also available for parent or teacher consultation and IEP support. ? I am a certified teacher of blind students (Med, TBS), and have my National Orientation and Mobility Certification (NOMC). Please contact me if you are interested in any of these, and we can discuss options for your circumstances.
Speaking Engagements

I’d love to be a resource. My husband who is also blind and I enjoy doing presentations together as well about blindness in general and our experience as parents. Please feel free to reach out to me through this site or via email at mjhartle23@gmail.com.
